HR: This involves managing our HR system Fourth Hospitality by keeping it up to date with staff information, contracts, payroll, relevant training and disciplinary action. I source new staff for Theo’s which involves conducting interviews, managing trial shifts, sending job offers, drawing up contracts and providing training. Training: I am responsible for training and on-boarding new staff members. I highlight team members ready for development and work with them to achieve their potential. Organising training for our covering a variety of aspects; food, coffee, wine and service. Customer interaction: This involves dealing with challenging customers, increasing sales through up-selling and offering both a service and environment customers would want to return to. Social media: Over the last year I have been responsible for our Instagram account @theospizzeria. Increasing our followers from 1,000 to 3,500 through posting and interaction. Staff Management: Hosting our staff meetings to effectively communicate with our team and ensure we are all on the same page and any issues aired.
I worked with management to run smooth shifts ensuring all sections were well tended and address any issues. I managed sales incentives within the team and offered direction on how best for the team to put them practice.
