Report Mens and Sports trade performance on a weekly basis to the Harrods.com team, Mens Fashion Director and buying team in-store and have managed the day to day operations of both divisions for the past 7 months. Analyse sales on a daily basis through both demand/conversion and net sales, identifying and actioning opportunities to drive sales on the website ensuring sales budgets are achieved. Work closely with in-store buying teams to ensure we have the best selection of products online for our customer and feedback any proposed changes/additions to the Trading Manager. Monitor stock levels and sell-thru of products, feeding this back to marketing and content teams ensuring they are promoting the correct products, while also using this information to negotiate extra stock with the buying teams where possible. Co-ordinate launches of new brands on the website working closely with buying teams and brands, ensuring they have both marketing and online content support, brand assets and that the launch runs smoothly and on time. Performance is then reviewed and sales analysed, with trading actions driven to either improve or maintain sales. Assist with seasonal planning and budgeting forecasts for the upcoming season for both divisions, working closely with the Senior Merchandise Planner and agreeing on phasing and budgeting targets for brands. Manage the Online Trading Administrator, helping prioritise daily workload, providing support and guidance when needed. Objectives have been put in place and are regularly reviewed to help grow and develop their skills. Have also trained admin in all aspects of the role (including SAP, Omniture and ProClarity). Work closely with brands sending weekly sales figures and running any ad hoc reports/analysis they require. Visual merchandising of the website to maximise sales using a report I built which consider sales, stock and retail value while also considering newness. Responsible for implementing global pricing for brands on the website. Co-ordinate the photographing of samples for key product/collection launches working closely with brands, buying and production teams. Assisting with re-platforming project of Harrods.com including migrating data, brand page structures and the customer journey. Use SAP on a daily basis to monitor stock levels, raise STO’s, track stock and monitor deliveries. Make product selections for emails for marketing team Create and visually merchandise menswear trend pages each season
Publishing of Mens & Sports products onto the Harrods website, selecting the cross-sales, merchandising pages and vetting the website to ensure there were no errors. Worked with programmes ProClarity, SAP, Catalogue Manager, Scene 7, Omniture, SLI and entering of metadata. Attention to detail was key as I was the I was the final person who checked all products before they went live on the website. I utilised my experience within the Production team and the relationships I built with others to perform my job to the highest standard.
Processing products from store and send them to be photographed for the website. Organisation and accuracy was key, particularly during peak times when high volumes of product were received. Effectively communicated across two other sites (store and photo studio) to ensure the photographing process ran without issues. If problems occurred along the way I ensured they were fixed as quickly as possible. I was also responsible for building strong relationships with the Harrods.com trading teams to ensure an smooth production process.
