About me
I am a driven, conscientious and an adaptable Event Sales Manager. I have the proven ability to build rapport with new clients and promote repeat business using my sufficient expertise in event conception, development and management. After attaining a BA Honours degree in Events Management, I have remained committed into achieving my career aspirations. My significant and progressive experience has enhanced my understanding of the hospitality and events industry.     Chucs is a group of Italian inspired Restaurants and Cafes across West London, that offers private hire and tailored events for social and corporate occasions, accommodating 15-300 guests. Chucs Serpentine housed within Zara Hadid’s landmark ‘Magazine’, surrounded by the verdant Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens. The venue affords its guests a sense of privacy and tranquility, in spite of it's central London location. * Within three months at Chucs Restaurants I had progressed from Events Assistant to Enquiries Manager. After a year I was promoted to Junior Events Manager and shortly after I became an Event Sales Manager all within two years with the company. * As Enquiries Manager, my sole responsibilities included responding to all enquiries, reporting pipe line and following up with leads to generate sales. This position enhanced my negotiating skills allowing me to secure major events commercially. I successfully contracted the largest event to be held at the venue to date, at the value of £63k. I remained involved throughout the planning process and attended the event assisting the Event Manager onsite. * At the start of my career at Chucs I used my initiative to create and introduce a clientele database, which has now been implemented into a bespoke software and CRM system. Allowing the team to operate with full visibility and improve efficiency of the work flow with administrative tasks. * I have built and developed reputable relationships with companies including; Rolex, Estee Lauder, Grant Thornton, Rolls Royce and many more. * Last year we launched three new sites. I would attend networking events to raise the profile of the venues within the local communities, to increase brand awareness and day to day sales. * My responsibilities include arranging and conducting client meetings to promote the venue and gain new business. Deliver exceptional customer service at the highest of standards via the telephone and face to face meetings. Work towards and achieve pre determined targets for event sales. * Confidently plan and execute both professional and social events, from the initial enquiry, live event and then the post event evaluation for all six venues. Encouraging repeat business and promoting client exclusivity by sending updated seasonal brochures throughout the year. * Providing bespoke tailor made packages for each event including customised menus to meet clients needs and requirements. * Recognising opportunities to maximise revenue by offering enhancements to create a better overall experience. * Attend weekly meetings with Head of Events to discuss pipeline and financial forecasts. Report weekly to the restaurant team outlining upcoming confirmed events and future opportunities. * Represent Chucs where required at showcases, exhibitions and networking events.
