Personally, I found NCS a lot more socially challenging than advertised. This was one of my first instances of working with a range of people, with different backgrounds and ethics, where admittedly I struggled to tolerate big personalities. As well as generic skills (such as project management and teamwork), this led me to learn how to deal with frustration appropriately and to ensure my discontent is justified, prior to confronting my peers.
