I am a current final year undergraduate student studying textile design at Nottingham Trent University, specialising in woven textiles.
I am particularly passionate about texture and pattern and how these affect our environments through the textiles we bring them into. I also enjoy incorporating my visual research into woven textiles, by choosing effective weave structures to convey the various qualities. I am greatly inspired by the everyday and what is often perceived as mundane and observing the patterns within.
During my degree I have worked on briefs set by Romo Black Edition, John Lewis and Joules.
I am currently looking for graduate opportunities within the home textile design industry. I am also available for freelance opportunities.
