Over the course of my career so far I am proud to have achieved record breaking revenue growth whilst at Ocean Media Group, launched TechXLR8, the headline festival for London Tech Week attracting 15,000 attendees from 8000 companies at Knect 365, completed Director level management training course in 2017 and completed Google certified digital marketing academy in 2019.     Ocean Media Group is a dynamic and progressive media organisation who own twenty market leading B2B and B2C brands. As marketing director for the Housing division, the companies largest portfolio, my role was a complex multi functional role in which I was responsible for £11m annual revenue across exhibitions, awards, conferences, subscriptions and digital products and 5 direct reports, 15 reports within the team in total. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, key responsibilities included: * Own the master schedule of publications, events and digital products, including development cycles, campaign activities and lead times. * Creating detailed marketing and audience-development plans for each product in collaboration business stakeholders. * Analysing customer insights and trends in order to launch products and increase revenue * Utilising a wide range of marketing channels across products and events * Working closely with Sales Director in order to maximise revenue * Engage with key stake holders at all levels to build relationships and negotiate buy-in * Overseeing creative aspects of each event brand, including logo development, messaging and look/feel for different marketing materials and channels * Continuously apply analytics to improve marketing efforts and optimise audience revenue, retention and growth * Pro-actively identifying poor performing products recommend steps to address and monitor * Assessing, monitoring and improving marketing efficiency by conducting regular analysis of marketing KPI's, reporting on campaign results to elevate success * Providing weekly reports on weekly trading and audience engagement across the business * Proactively manage all direct reports, setting clear objectives, compiling training plans and offering continual support and challenge through mentoring and coaching.
