About me
I am an avid features writer who is crazy about culture and scrutinising societal practices. As someone who is curious about how society operates, I'm most interested in discovering, exploring and producing insights into different phenomenon and global happenings. I currently write for online publication Meeting of Minds UK and online magazine Yes Gurl for which I have been featured in their first print issue and first digital issue: Female Empowerment and Black Cases in White Spaces. I have bylines in LAPP Magazine; Society19; Dear Movies zine; DiscoverSociety.org.

The panellists included host, Samantha Newell (co-founder of YARD AND PARISH), Johanna Yaovi (founder of The Curl Talk Project.), Zainab Kwaw-Swanzy (author and model), and Gina Atinuke Knight (influencer and founder of Gina Knight Wig Design). How Artificial Intelligence Exacerbates the Systematic Biases of the Real WorldArtificial Intelligence uses a multitude of tools, including algorithms and statistical analysis, to aid in clinical decision making and to pick up things that humans may miss. Modern AI is still fairly new, but it is fast becoming one of the biggest markets in the world, expected to gross £360 billion by 2024. However, while strong investment is backing these machines, machine learning systems still present obstacles, including bias, gender, ethnic and physical discrimination. Read here: https

First Class Honours Over the course of my university degree I have developed a number of useful skills including strong written, analytical and presentational skills; effective arguing abilities; and developed communication skills. I am most proud of producing my final-year dissertation titled: 'The Power In Language: Identity Through Expression In Selected Caribbean Short Fiction' for which I achieved a first class grade. Here, I interrogate identity in the cultivation of expression through a comparative analysis of the use of language in literature in the Anglophone, Francophone and Hispanophone regions of the Caribbean.
