I’m a passionate and self-motivated aspiring Children’s book Illustrator and designer, having graduated with a Degree in Illustration at Norwich University of the Arts in 2017. Over the past year I have been gaining experience, being socially engaged and working directly with my target audience; planning and leading workshops for children as an Illustration tutor for Art 4 Youth, Norwich Art School and similarly, running art workshops for refugees as a volunteer at Habibi Works in Greece. Working with refugees at Habibi Works was an incredible opportunity for me to promote and encourage art, hoping to have a positive influence on people’s well-being in addition to gaining inspiration for my own creative practice. I am genuinely passionate about picture books; particularly those celebrating diversity or seeking to assist in providing a means of emotional support to children. I would like to be lucky enough to be part of a team working in an Illustration Agency and ultimately, to have my own Picture books published.
