About me

Hi, I’m Lauren, I’m 22- a mid-covid graduate of film and television production at Northumbria University. Graduated with a 2:1, my dissertation piece being a feature film screenplay. During uni, I was very lucky and managed to get a couple of runner jobs on shows such as Dickinson’s Real Deal and did my work experience at Hollyoaks with the camera team. Since then, worked for a summer on the communications team at Glastonbury Festival 2019, and various other freelance jobs at MTV/Viacom and ITV (The X Factor). Looking to become an Assistant Producer and then eventually a Producer at my peak!

I was a production assistant on a one-off MTV Production called MTV Blackpool: Bring on the light. It was a small live production in which we broadcast the Blackpool illuminations switch on with celebrity guests. My responsibilities included looking after the talent, making sure the set was covid safe and managing Comms and call sheets for the site.
