About me
My name is Lauryn Cushnie, a multi-skilled video producer looking to change industries to somewhere I can be more creative.
I specialise in Video editing to a range of different forms and platforms. I am social media savvy and understand how different video and editing works for various platforms like YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. After studying television production for 3 years and graduating, I am a very versatile editor and can edit to many different styles and tones, as well as being proficient in creating and animating graphics, VFX, motion graphics/ typography, Color grading and basic Audio correction.
As well as this I am very well experienced in filming and self producing video content. I have much experience operating various high end camera equipment, and have always been very hands on in the pre-production, shooting and post production processes of video.
Music is my inspiration for many things and is something I love, so when it comes to an edit I am always able to source the most fitting and complimentary music and sound effects to really bring work to life. I am also great at recording sound using a range of different mics.

My main responsibilities as a video producer are to work directly with stakeholders to fulfil creative production requests, including pipelining new concepts for ads to be run on our marketing channels (Facebook,YouTube and tiktok) As well as our branded content. I facilitate ideation meetings, host creative days within the company, as well as planning and attending international shoots. sourcing and casting talent is part of my day to day, whether in uk or internationally, I am able to work on multiple briefs at the same time.
I ensure that productions are delivered on time and within budget, and are executed to a high standard, encouraging and practicing new ways of filming continuously adapting to new trends.

This role entails filming interviews, and much other video content, preparing & ingesting footage, editing video to client briefs and to brand guidelines. Much of this is for B2C as well as B2B. on many occasions, I do green screen video shoots & editing, as well as create motion graphics & animating content. Many a time I create graphics to be used in video, as well as sound recording, and sourcing music/sound to be used in videos.
