  • Working in the in house studio for Michael Page looking after the workflows and creative work for the creative, digital and offline functions of the department. Working on projects from initial concept to final sign off and delivery, making sure timelines and budgets are kept to. Digital projects included websites, HTML’s, banners, graphic concepts and CMS. Offline work includes print ads, posters, presentations, booklets, out of home products and many other print related projects. My role also involves chairing weekly WIP meetings and reports to the Creative Director. I look after the expectations of the account teams of the UK, Northern American, South African and Middle East offices, making sure timelines and expectations are met, giving advice, offering best solutions and checking with them in the case of overruns or problems. I look into the sourcing of freelancers when required and am also involved in the print buying and delivery areas.

  • Working in the Communications Department on a new project looking after the traffic and supply of printed related materials from conception to final print. Day to day workings with account managers, creative, both art directors and copywriters, print managers and printers, mailing houses and clients. Working with a full range of print materials including mailers, POS, coupons and other print requirements. Making sure all projects were kept on schedule and to budget, ensuring sample materials were delivered on time and in the correct quantities. Keeping status reports up to date and chairing WIP meetings on a twice weekly basis, checking resource was available to projects and heading up any problems or workflow questions with the Production Director

  • • Implemented new traffic and workflow system, making sure all print requirements from various departments were scheduled from initial concepts, proofed, distributed and signed off ready for delivery. Improved workflow and interdepartmental communication making sure those relevant persons knew how their projects were proceeding. • Day to day management of the design department making sure briefs were correct, materials were ready for art working and dealing with any queries from the team. • Involved with media campaigns both online and offline dealing with media bookings, digital campaigns, making sure campaigns were on time, proofed and signed off by relevant departments, ensuring materials sent to journals on time and with correct specifications printing. • Organised print for facades, leaflets, posters and POS from getting quotes from outside suppliers, ensuring artwork was delivered to the correct specifications, proofing and sign off, delivery to site and correct assembly to sites around the building. • Imported invoices into system and spreadsheets, collated orders for printers as well as other suppliers and dealt with any account queries.

  • • Research of print and press specifications on a global basis and continual compiling, updating and managing of database of over 8000 entries for use across of parts of the Hogarth companies. • Checking schedules for all major international campaigns from major multinational companies making sure that they have correct specifications, profiles and sizes before commencement of production. Coordination with production project managers in national and international offices, dealing with high volume requests speedily and ensuring campaigns runs on time. • Dealing with issues of delivery, communicating with international newspaper and magazine publishers, media agencies and using production knowledge to sort out queries, delivery details and time management issues. • Reporting to Senior Management and Account teams concerning Projects and issues arising from them
