During my time at university I studied a wide range of literary periods and theoretical approaches, taking modules in Renaissance Theatre and Literature, Shakespeare, Postcolonialism, European Cinema, Writing Gender and Anxiety, Moderns and many more. The diversity in my areas of study allowed me to embrace a broad spectrum of literature and literary thought, spanning both textual and visual work.
My dissertation focused on the author Milan Kundera, examining the relationship between gender, identity, and politics in two of his novels: 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' and 'The Joke'.
