About me
Leah Goodman is a seasoned creative communications strategist who partners with mission-driven and innovative organizations to elevate their reputation and brand awareness. Her expertise lies in creating thoughtful, individualized strategies that work for her clients, including traditional media relations, messaging and asset development, events and partnerships, social media management and more.
With sixteen years of experience, she has advised the most impressive organizations across food, tech, entertainment, media and foundations. She’s led communications for an education non-profit and has worked with clients including early stage venture firms TMV and Aspect Ventures, Helaina, Tilit NYC, NAMI, and The James Beard Foundation. In 2018, she successfully launched Netflix’s Ugly Delicious from creators, Chef David Chang and Academy Award winning director, Morgan Neville, as well as the first company to emerge from Walmart Stores’ startup incubator, Store No. 8.
As a consultant, she provides clients with strategic counsel in order to help tell stories centering around impact. Leah is a firm believer in the power of great storytelling and received her B.A. in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University. She lives in the heart of New York City with her husband, and their growing family of plants. In her free time, she can be found exploring NYC's rich culinary and cultural scene, cooking and trying new recipes, and perfecting her photography skills.
