About me
I am a previous graduate of Fashion Atelier from the University for the Creative Arts, Rochester. I specialised in Bespoke Tailoring, whilst also learning the art of Couture Dress-making. From my course and my time in the industry, I have built a wide range of technical skills including Design, Draping, Creative Pattern Cutting, Toiling and Traditional Methods of Manufacture.
Sustainable production has been a focal point for me since before starting my degree, therefore I continue to only use natural, organic or recycled material in my work. It could be assumed that because of my traditional training, my creations might be typically ‘classic’, however my designs are far from standard tailoring. I love to incorporate innovative materials/technologies in my work, in particular using Digital 3D design and printing. As a result, I have combined both of these within my work, blending elements of tradition with futurism.
