About me
I have a passion for many types of art including, textiles, mixed media, illustration and photography. In my spare time I love being at the coast, in my family beach hut with my two labradors, using the wildlife and scenery as some of my inspiration.
The past three years in my textile’s degree has taught me a lot of resilience when faced with challenges, I have learnt to meet several deadlines once given a brief that I’ve interpreted and respond to feedback in a positive attitude. My skills within my course lie with print & surface design which I love to work by hand but also have understanding of designing digitally on photoshop.
I have learnt that I work well within a team environment, however, I also have the ability to be able to use my own initiative when working independently or when faced with a new challenge. My motivation, enthusiasm and general friendliness would be a great asset to any team.

Currently I work as a sales assistant in a clothing store called M&CO, here I work in a team to help run the shop day to day outside of university, bringing positive ideas forward for the sales team. I also have to make sure sales go through smoothly in a fast paced environment, whilst handling money and sometimes visually merchandising new stock, ensuring customers have a fun shopping experience by being polite and approachable.
