About me
I'm a hard-working and enthusiastic individual, who thrives on creativity and new experiences. I've recently completed a BA in Visual Culture from the National College of Art and Design and I'm excited to put the skills and knowledge I've accomplished, out into the world. I've been blogging since the age of 16 - it's been my full time career, alongside social media influencing, for four years now. I'm passionate about the fashion and beauty industries, online media, art and travelling, as well as animal and human rights activism.
Projects
  • REPEAL CHAIN
REPEAL CHAINFor a final year collaborative practises module in college, I began a social media awareness project called 'Repeal Chain', with a fellow student and friend, Dearbhla Ní Fhaoillecháin Ryan. Repeal Chain's aim was to spread awareness and information around the globe, about Ireland's current abortion rights crisis and the #repealthe8th campaign. We reached over 200k people in less than three months, had photographic support coming in from places such as Guatemala, California and Glasgow and we attracted a dedicated and loyal following. Our social media platforms of focus were Twitter and Instagram, to balance imagery and conversation. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/repealchain/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/RepealChain
Work history
    Blogger

Since beginning my blog in 2009, I've built up an enormous range of skills, both professionally and educationally. I can adapt to various writing styles (blog, print media, social media). I know how to build up an engaging and lasting online audience and following. I can accustom myself to different types of projects with brands, depending on what they're looking for. My photography and editing skills can also comply to an array of different brand aesthetics.
    Sales Assistant
     - Full Time
Working in retail no doubt built up my professional and social skills. Having worked in both the flagship Dublin store and London's Covent Garden, I've developed a brilliant approach to teamwork. I could adapt to different tasks quickly (merchandising, customer greetings, shop floor styling) and enjoyed creating enticing, yet neat, displays.
