I have a depth of experience and knowledge in financial services technology due to COO / Chief of Staff roles across my career, that spans over 24 years and I have also run a successful coaching practice alongside this for over 16 years. I am a blend of risk-taking, change-making creativity, with the security, safety and logic of a COO who can implement change and growth without any dramas. Develop strategy to get business ready for investment or acquisition. • Implemented a transformation programme for media agency transforming from a startup to an established agency preparing for future acquisition. • Delivered Interim Chief Operating Officer service to a media company experiencing significant growth; supported Senior Management with organisational design, designing the diversity agenda, recruitment strategy and leadership development. • Designed approach to management information and implemented Key Performance Indicators for SME’s. Resulted in identifying a price increase was required which doubled the profit margin with no impact to customer services. Also resulted in being able plan a talent pipeline. • Identifying issues with attrition, project governance, financial forecasting which could all lead to overspend or under delivery of objectives. Resolving these issues resulted in confidence around the deliverables and greater confidence from the stakeholders. • Identified issues with team dynamics and worked with the organization using the Game Changer Index to show how teams need different styles to be successful. Delivered a focused core product offer, improved communications and identified future recruitment strategies. • Advised the implementation and communications strategy for change programs within an Insurance business HR department. Was able to implement controls and design a narrative to the change programs to allow greater adoption and increased end user engagement. • Facilitated culture workshops to identify areas for improvement and creatively problem solve. Co-ordinated a report including key risks of not taking action for the Senior Leadership team. • Set up Program Office processes and governance for cost reduction programme within Global Markets IT, which improved collaboration and teamwork and delivered robust reporting for the Steering Board. • Coordinated multiple projects and programmes with senior stakeholders to determine appropriate controls and systems already implemented and how to effectively incorporate these into the PMO cycle, leading to greater governance and control and increased confidence in delivery. • Providing coaching services to outplacement and career transition clients, as well as assisting senior clients to determine their next career move, designing an approach to be used that maximises hiring opportunities and increases confidence within the hiring process.
