I’m an experienced Creative Director who has spent my career making fully integrated campaigns across many brands, both internationally and locally. For over 10 years I’ve been part of a creative team with Mike Dawe working on global accounts including Mars, Unilever and Diageo, winning both creative and effectiveness awards, building client relationships, mentoring other creatives and winning new business.
Recently we’ve worked on fashion, food, alcohol, household, personal care, audio entertainment, health and charity. And we’ve made everything from films and chatbots to on-pack promotions and the world’s first mailable changing room. We create big ideas with 360-degree thinking across film, digital content, social campaigns, shopper, activation, brand experience and print. I'm the Art Director in the team and I'm hugely passionate about design and craft, which is shown throughout our work.
Awards: Kinsale Shark, DMA, Drum Design Awards, Euro Effie, IPM, IMCC Europe, POSMA and Cresta. Publications: Campaign, The Drum, Luzer's Archive, Yearbook of Advertising (Germany) and Direct New Ideas.
I’m on the Executive Board of Directors for Outvertising, the industry’s LGBTQ+ advocacy group where I volunteer as Creative Director. I was shortlisted for the 2020 IPA iList which champions diversity role models. I've recently been part of two industry mentor schemes and taken a mental health first aid training course. I've also been part of the DMA and MAA awards juries.

When MullenLowe Group merged its creative department into one integrated team, Mike and I were promoted to Creative Directors. We spent the first 2 years heading up the Mars account after winning the pitch. We developed the biggest and most successful cross-category promotion Mars has ever done. We also ran the Unilever and Diageo accounts for MullenLowe Open with creatives working into us. We later integrated across the business and worked on campaigns for sloggi, Primark, Sennheiser, Etihad and Art Fund, developing our skills across film, print and digital, winning awards for both craft and effectiveness.

We took on the role of Senior Creative Team and over a 4-year period helped to grow the business by winning new clients as well as helping to shape the agency culture. In our early years, we were known as the 'shopper marketing experts' working as creative leads on Unilever and Diageo brands. We were invited to take part in 'creative hothouses' working on global pitches in Singapore, Madrid and Amsterdam. Understanding this discipline was vital to our career development and taught us the importance of thinking channel neutral and idea first. As the agency evolved and became more integrated, we produced more experiential, digital content and social campaigns, creating award-winning campaigns across a variety of clients.
