I'm a Scandinavian style illustrator based in London. I create work for print and digital, textiles, packaging and products. Sometimes my creations also take over spaces and climb on walls and windows.
My style can be described as a blend of unexpected color combinations, playful shapes and positive energy. My work draws its' inspiration especially from my Nordic roots, Japanese aesthetics and folk art. I create my recognisable work by combining paper cuts to digital vectors. This gives my work its unique and warm handmade feel.
I love to work with people around the World and I'm always on the lookout for new exciting clients and projects. My clientele includes Facebook, Snapchat, Refinery29, Papyrus and Google among others.
Projects
- Stickers for CliganicFemale-led creative innovation agency Bartlett Brands commissioned me to create a selection of illustrations for Cliganic, an organic cosmetics brand based in San Francisco. Cliganic was releasing a new product, mosquito repellent patches for kids. They asked me to create illustrations that would make the product appeal to the little ones. While I was given the general art direction and a predetermined color palette to work with, I had pretty much free hands to create what I thought would work
- Make-up packaging illustrationsUS-based make-up brand Cosnova commissioned me to create a seasonal look for their Essence cosmetics Christmas packaging. The kits contain a selection of lip glosses and mascaras and they are targeted at young adult and teenage girls. The brief was to create illustrations that would give the packaging a fresh, playful look for the holiday season.
- Friendship Stories stamp setIllustration and design for a set of Valentine's Day stamps for the Finnish Post. The set is called Friendship Stories and it consists of five different stamps. The set is complete with a First Day Cover and a rubber stamp. I created these stamps in Spring 2021 under the never ending London lockdown. I was still new to the city and the weather was gray, I couldn't leave my apartment much and I missed my friends in Finland. These gloomy circumstances made me truly kick back and create illustra
- Wall calendar for 2022Cute and pastelly animal-themed illustrations for a 2022 wall calendar. There is a different animal for each month enjoying an activity typical for the season. Commissioned by my long-term client Putinki Helsinki in Finland.
