I’m a Graphic design graduate looking for digital design/development roles.
I love the process of researching, designing and bringing websites to life through code. I have experienced this through various university projects that helped me achieve first-class honours in Graphic Design.
I have an analytical approach to design. Crafting flexible, efficient and easy-to-use designs is highly satisfying for me. My analytical skills carry over to my growing interest in web development. In my final year of university, I taught myself to code. I am now proficient in writing HTML and CSS and have a fundamental knowledge of JavaScript. This learning was primarily through creating websites as part of university projects. I enjoy leveraging my creative and technological skills.
My ability to approach user interface from a technical perspective and thinking about how developers will translate designs into code has evolved the way I work, and it’s something I can’t wait to explore further!
My degree in graphic design has allowed me to develop skills that carry over to programming:
• Problem-solving skills
• UX/UI design
• Attention to detail
• Critical & creative thinking
• Adaptability
• Patience
• Project management
• Responsive design
• Visual communication
Skills and Software:
• HTML
• CSS/SCSS
• JavaScript
• Version control with git
• Adobe CC Suite
• Figma
I’m a hard worker with excellent attention to detail. I get excited about opportunities to learn new skills that will help me to improve my ability to design and develop interfaces.
During the last year of my degree, I: branded a company offering remote holiday experiences, branded a foreign film festival, designed a campaign launching audiobooks on Spotify, learnt to code and documented it through a website, and designed/coded a website for DoughMother Bakery.
I am currently seeking employment opportunities, especially in digital design/development.

I took part in a live brief set by B.A.M London. The task was to create a zine about a subject or interest close to you. I based mine on folklore, a topic that has always fascinated me.

I responded to a week-long brief requiring me to design and prototype an app that benefited students. I produced a short-form content news app, targetting students with damaged attention spans from extensive social media use.
