Hi everyone!
My name is Léo,
I’ve been working as a freelance illustrator on diverse projects, in fashion, cover art, edition, or even on art events like exhibitions. I’m a motivated and ambitious person as well as very laid back and communicative. COVID has made me realise how much I strive for sharing connections with other creatives and I’m really looking for collaborations and projects to contribute to!
I would define my style as a mix of my childhood fantasies (the adult 2.0 version of them) inspired by French comic artists, Japanese mangakas, cyberpunk culture and grunge fashion. I wish to work on different projects that could make me connect with lots of interesting people. I’m hugely passionate about the fashion and music industry, but also the editorial and publishing world.
Projects
- Poster DesignsThese two illustrations were designed to be made as fashion/cyberpunk posters that would incorporate a black and white line work along with colour palettes I love, one in cold shades and one in warm tones. I also added some hand drawn lettering in French (my native language) respectively saying "Loneliness I love you", and "I'm really tired of it", which gave the titles "solitude" and "i'm so tired" both created in early 2020.
- Space Dreams SeriesThis is a personal project I started during first lockdown of the pandemic, during which I got back to my childhood influences through mangas, comic books, tumblr and fantasy films. I wanted to incorporate elements I found appealing colour and composition wise, giving a comic art style and a lot of colours, which was quite new for me. Space Bondage (2020)
