An award-winning screenwriter and producer represented by CAA. His work, especially in providing richly detailed digital, film, and tv programming, has earned him a feature in Powerful Media’s 2015 edition of ‘Britain’s most influential people of African and African Caribbean Heritage’, BBC’s 2017 ‘New Talent Hotlist’, and a Screen Nation 2020 ‘Digital Vanguard Award’. He is Co-Founder of production group BWNG Ltd, a collective dedicated to showcasing the culturally diverse range of talent and narratives in modern day Britain - with multiple projects distributed in over 80 countries worldwide across television. streaming platforms, and airlines. In addition to co-running 'Insight’ a network designed to create opportunities for above-the-line black creatives in scripted production, Leon also works in development with the BBC drama commissioning team.
