About me
Founder of Warbler Art co. I am a sustainable nature artist, meaning wildlife is not only the focus of my artwork, but also the focus of my direction. I incorporate recycled and eco-friendly materials into my work and have pledged to donate 20% of my profits to wildlife conservation charities. My style is inspired by the old ornithologyical illustrators like Audubon and Samuel Dixon.

Graduated with Honours. Specialised in 2D Painting and Drawing. My final project was a delve into the subject of wildlife poaching, trafficking and deforestation in the Amazon. Using recycled glass and scrap oak beams, I constructed two boxes housing 3 macaw paintings each. Each was a species from the Amazon, painted on a small square/circle of repurposed wood - wood from old chairs, house beams and "artisanal" wooden jar lids to name a few. Every species is considered threatened, vulnerable or even extinct in the wild. They were accompanied by bitesize statistics on the effects of the pet industry and farming on these creatures, to raise awareness of this issue in the general public.

Graduated with Merit. My final project centred on femininity and "the gaze". I made several paintings of myself, deconstructing my body into parts to be analysed. In particular my body hair - by exaggerating the look of the hair I have on my body, I was demystifying (mostly for myself) the concept of femininity aligning with hairyness.
