I am currently a Content Writer for WellBe, who are a company revolutionising wellbeing in the workplace through bespoke remote interventions involving mental health experts, data scientists and serial entrepreneurs. This year, I have also worked as a Sports Content Writer at My Club Developer, who help grassroots sport become more sustainable, and a Sports Writer at World in Sport. During the height of the pandemic, I worked as an Administrative Assistant for a loss adjusting surveyor.
I studied Sport and Exercise Psychology at Brunel University, which involved a research project assessing the sociocultural attitudes and exercise motives toward body image and self-esteem, graduating in 2018. This course equates to the first stage of training to become a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited sport and exercise psychologist. In 2017, I graduated in Sport and Exercise Science, on a sandwich programme, from the University of Hertfordshire. My final year research investigated the bodily perception and awareness in participants of varied physical activity levels and lifestyles. I presented this research at the BASES Student Conference, held at Plymouth Marjon University, to over 300 delegates, providing the opportunity to interact with industry experts.
