Production AssistantD&AD
Using the awards cataloguing system my role within the production team has been to quality check and approve entries for this year’s professional awards. Accurately processing and warehousing work, I ensure that each entry is ready for judging according to the judging specifications and are presented to a high standard, making sure that all work modifications are processed efficiently and accurately. Developing one-to-one relationships with global creative agencies, I provide an excellent level of customer service and ensure that a consistent standard is maintained between incoming queries and outgoing entry correspondence.
Once all 11,000 entries had been transported to the exhibition space, my role was to unpack and assemble the work within the space, following a strict running order and marking work with returns requests.
During judging my role as a jury assistant was to oversee the work within the Film Advertising discipline by assisting the judges through the short listing and pencil winners process ensuring that the work is judged fairly and in accordance to the D&AD judging guidelines. Once the judging process had ended I was involved with moving winners work and rearranging the gallery space in preparation for a public open day, where I worked as a invigilator.
I also had my contract extended and joined the content and credits department where my role was to check winners credits and artwork images in preparation for the D&AD 2015 annual.
