TUMO is one of the top innovative digital media schools in the world where students aged 12-18 are in charge of their own learning. I was invited to design and lead a fine art photography workshop for 3 weeks where 14 students learned to conceptualize and create a body of work with mixed media techniques such as collages, paintings, graphic design, sound, e.t.c to explore their artistic vision, self expression, learn about the importance of successful team work, creative project execution and presentation. The class was summarized with the exhibition of 14 pieces of work created by students.
Hopes&Fears is a life and culture publication exploring topics large and small through a global lens. As a photo producer and in house photographer I was organizing and executing in house photo shoots that included still life, portrait and lifestyle photography, to provide original visual content for articles. My responsibilities: Working on different projects simultaneously, sourcing props, models, artists, retouchers, estimating budgets and timelines, studio set up and management, production, post production. Collaboration with the senior art direction and photo director to incorporate the images with individual layouts for each article. Directing freelance retouchers for desired results within the tight timelines. Researching for stock photography and freelance photographers, meeting and providing guidance for upcoming assignments. My main responsibility was to manage and lead a research project where I got to interview the top creative people in advertisement industry to define the key insights and help to shape the agency structure and working process for Overthinking team. I was also helping out with other projects, assisting in art direction of animation storyboards, design tasks and social media strategies.
I've worked as a facilitator together with 3 other experts during the HIWW. Introduction of Hyper Island methods, practicing those with students and facilitating them was the main goal of the week.
I chose Tiempo BBDO for the work shadow to be able to experience the difference between traditional advertisement and digital agencies. During my time there I followed the Creative Director in his day to day work learning all about the process of a traditional company.

When my friend and I founded our studio there was just 2 employees. In 2 years we grew to 12 people and our clients were the biggest companies in Armenia such as National Television, Orange Armenia Telecommunication and more. We also expanded our work outsourcing projects from United States and Europe. My role was pretty much of everything, from creative direction to project management and stuff management, production, client communication, interactive design and other responsibilities.
