During my three years at university at Bournemouth we were taught the fundamentals in film production and cinematography. We learnt how to shoot on both digital formats and film formats including 16mm and 35mm (including taught how to load) and students who had a particular interest in the camera department were given opportunities to exercise those roles on market assignments throughout the academic life-cycle.
