Work history
    Freelance Designer & Stylist
I have a vast knowledge of machine and hand sewing. I have worked with industrial machines and made-to-measure orders. My skills have enabled me to be able to work as a freelance designer, creating pieces for women of all shapes and sizes. My sewing skills have also allowed me to teach young people how to design and make a garment, resulting in them finishing the 4 weeks workshop with a new skill under their belts. I have worked on plus size, childrenswear and womenswear I am currently learning crochet and knitting, to add to my portfolio I am currently freelancing as a stylist for an influential client for LC: M (London Collection: Men), LFW and other fashion events. Not only that, but also I get the chance to style the client on various shoots with brands and photographers for their websites and blogs. I recently worked with Fashion stylist/producer Kalee Hewlett for her new programme. I was in charge of the admin side; including chasing up PR companies and brands to pull pieces for the shoot, as well as creating the outfit moodboards. Through working with Kalee it as allowed me to gain great contacts and valuable experiences with I can use.
    Fashion Workshop Tutor
     -
During the summer holidays, Rathbone Community Centre put on a fashion workshop for young people age between 11-19 years old. I was hired to teach the young people how to make a garment from scratch. My job included working with young people with special needs, as well as working with people that has never sewed before. The job role required patience, sewing skills, confidence, being approachable, engaging, organisation skills, and also the ability to work with children, to which I was able to do. They were able to finish the workshop gaining sewing knowledge and a portfolio of work, as well as their garment that they made.
