I completed the Watford Advertising Creative Course back in 2010, and I've been working as a creative copywriter ever since. During my time in the industry, I've worked (and played) at VCCP, Iris, Glue, Naked, Leagas Delaney and last but by no means least, The Red Brick Road. And I've worked with some stellar writers too. I love crafting headlines, writing scripts, boshing out body copy, cracking creative briefs and coming up with big new exciting ideas. I have spent the last couple of months freelancing as a Creative Copywriter in Amsterdam. I've been working for Anomaly on a couple of briefs, coming up with concepts and copy for Converse and Nike+. I have also been working on several projects for TIme inc. London - developing launch ideas and delivering copy for print and online ads.
The Red Brick Road was a really fun and dynamic place to work. During our time there, my partner and I launched Aussie breakfast drink, Up&Go, with a humorous TV spot and some eye-catching OOH. We also built the world’s biggest and bounciest Sydney Harbour Bridge inflatable assault course, which made for a fun and engaging experiential. We created some nice print work for Just Eat, MOMA! and Funkin Cocktails. We made animated ads for Experian, wrote radio for ADT, ran competitions for Jägermeister, and created countless comms for Suzuki. And last but not least, we've just finished cooking up an all-singing all-dancing TV spot for the launch of new online estate agency, easyProperty.
Leagas Delaney is a brand consultancy agency that delivers integrated communications via advertising, digital, design and proprietary research. At Leagas Delaney, my partner and I worked closely with Creative Director, Nigel Roberts, across a range of their accounts. We created print ads for Waterstones, Timberland, Timepiece, Glenfiddich and Intercontinental Hotels, as well as developing digital campaigns for Lilets and DM communications for Prudential.
Glue Isobar is an integrated advertising agency that specialises in developing exemplary digital creative work. At Glue, my partner and I worked on digital and experiential briefs across a range of clients, from RBS group to Crunchy Nut. We also developed an interactive game in rich media for Kellogg's Krave.
