About me
I have recently taken what will be 3 years out to have my child and during this time decided to return and do a degree in Fashion Communication and Marketing to help me progress. Now he is of an age I am looking for a role that will continue to progress and push me I need a challenge and am always happy to try new things. My passions include fashion, costume and fashion history.

I spent many years working on different events from large scale family fun days (Essex Housing Extravaganza, Highland House) and Formal award ceremonies through to arranging smaller events and activities for a local Dementia Care home. My love of organisation and time management skills means I find it easy to pull events together as well as working well under time restraints.

I was lucky enough to join the Stars in their Eyes team before the original show was de-commissioned. This was my first industry job and went a long way to teaching me and guiding me towards what I would like to do. As a buyer I was required to buy and style costumes based around a particular celebrity that was being imitated on the show.

I am currently doing a degree in fashion Communication and Marketing. The course covers a multitude of areas including illustration, history, styling and photography to name a few. This degree has given me a broad knowledge of all aspects of the fashion industry which has helped shape my decision into the area in which i want to progress.
