Hi! My name is Lily and I'm a freelance animator and illustrator based in London. I specialise in character animation and I work mostly on commercial projects, which allows me to experiment with a variety of styles!

Projects
- Animation Reel 2020Some of my recent animation projects. I was responsible for all design, rigging and animation except for: a) 30s-31s "the exploding oven", where lead designs and original character were created by Kyle Xuereb Cunningham b) 28-29s "leisure centre", where lead designs were done by Benjamin Tulloch
- BBC Ideas - The Hemline IndexThe hemline index predicts that women wear shorter skirts when the economy is in good shape. How accurate is it? Hired by the wonderful Derek Jarman Lab, who produced the video for the BBC, I was responsible for the animations (including design and rigging). bbc.com/ideas/videos/what-your-skirt-length-can-tell-you-about-the-econ/p070r0np
- Skillshare - Jump Into Traditional AnimationI was recently invited to teach a class at Skillshare and developed this short class for motion graphics animators wanting to get into traditional animation in Photoshop. In this class, I show you how to use Photoshop to create a beautiful, classical style animation. We start with a basic ball bounce, and then move on to a full bodied character doing a broad jump!
