Since April 2019 I have been working for Pup Up Cafe an event planner business based in Exeter that travel all over the country and host dog meet up events. The first event I attended was voluntary as it was their first event but since that event they’ve hired me another three times which has been paid. I spend the day at the chosen venue shooting each dog and their owner the whole time they’re there. By doing this I have gained a lot more confidence to ask people to take their photo and in event photography. I have also learn to edit hundreds of images under a tight two to three day turn around time.

In January 2019 I was lucky enough to be offered to assist a wedding photographer in London. The wedding took place at The Dorchester in Mayfair where I helped with the lighting in order for Robert to get the best shots he could, I got given a camera to carry round with me for the day to capture the off guard moments and certain shots that Robert asked me to capture. I’m not sure if any of my photos were used in the final edits as I didn’t have access to them but I was just overwhelmed to go for the experience.
