About me
Visualising conceptual ideas is my favoured form of problem-solving – I see the physical world, ideas, thoughts and dreams as an interconnected web of relations, which I have sought to translate into video form both inside and outside of university.
My video exploring the human/Nature dichotomy was exhibited late last year in Peckham; it aimed to elicit an emotional response to the dangers of anthropocentric thought and action. More recently, I presented a video to raise money for a Brighton-based mental health charity centred on the importance of attuning to dream language to access the instinctive self.
Alongside my passion projects, I have worked as a freelance videographer with various corporate and smaller-scale clients – I am comfortable and able to adapt to different environments and needs. I have worked with architects, musicians, geographers and antique dealers; I enjoy interdisciplinary work and the different mediums required, like animation and graphic design. Bringing my ideas and those of others to life through a lens is not only important in our visual culture but incredibly powerful for changing emotions, attitudes and behaviours.
