- Quidditch Through the AgesThe latest in a long line of collaborations with Pottermore, on 15th March 2018 Audible released a special audio edition of Quidditch Through the Ages, narrated by Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln, with bonus content performed by Imogen Church and Annette Badland. To mark the launch, guests were treated to a 360-degree sound experience soundscape, which made them feel like they were at the cente of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup Final. There was match commentary from the Daily Prophet’s Quidditch correspondent, Ginny Potter (Imogen Church), and Rita Skeeter (Annette Badland), as well as the sounds of whizzing Snitches, whooshing Quaffles and the buzz of racing brooms darted from all four corners of the room.

My main task was writing copy to promote new mobile game releases, support campaigns and provide help and engagement for players of King’s existing titles. These included the popular Candy Crush Saga series, plus a new range of midcore titles offering more complex gameplay and appeal beyond the casual audience. As well as creating original copy, I also helped to upload and manage content on the CMS for various micro sites. By analysing data, following industry trends and listening to feedback from the gaming community, I was able to pitch and create articles that were engaging, helpful and in line with the company’s KPIs. As part of the Digital Marketing team, I supported the launch of Diamond Diaries Saga, Candy Crush Friends Saga and Legend of Solgard.

I edited and proofread translations of children’s books for Little Elephant Books - an independent publishing company that offers personalised stories for young readers. I also helped localise the text to appeal to the UK audience.
