Work history
    School Club Teacher
I work on a free lance basis as a club leader for this international company that delivers high quality engaging school clubs to schools all over London. Presently, I teach a weekly after school game design club to 22 students from Year 3 and 4 at Vicarage Road Primary School, Newham. The club lasts one hour and I work alongside a school technician to deliver the club. I teach the students how to create their own games using PC laptops and the coding program Scratch. As the club is only one hour per week, I have to plan the classes very effectively to make sure I build up a good working relationship with the students and can deliver the instructions is a clear and accessible way, while keeping them on target to finish their games with the timeframe we are given. I also teach an ICT club at Annemount Preparatory School in Hampstead. I teach the full ICT curriculum to reception, year one and year two. My responsibilities include preparing the course to meet the national ICT curriculum, maintaining and preparing all the equipment including laptops, iPads and installing software. I also prepare detailed lesson plans, which are approved by the head teacher. The club lasts 3 hours with 6 half hour classes back to back. It involves a highly efficient and organized routine on my part.
