From June-December I worked as the Marketing & Creative Trainee at
frontline label East West Records. Working with the Marketing Manager,
I contributed to the delivery of multiple strategic and cost effective
marketing campaigns. For example, I successfully helped devise a CRM
strategy for an artist to improve their social following, which raised
engagement by 2.5% across the platforms and subscriptions by 27%.
I was given an opportunity to move over to Rhino Records in the New
Year to implement another CRM strategy. My current role at Rhino also
involves liaising and pitching with streaming services over campaigns, and
creating reports and analysis of digital engagement. Anticipating a decline
in streams of major artists such as Joy Division over the Christmas period,
I worked with the marketing team and the artists’ management to collate
and execute a series of content which successfully lifted streaming numbers.
Notable current projects include David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Joy Division.
