About me
A hardworking, persistent, and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in every task, this can be seen through my academic and professional achievements.
In the last 2 years particularly, I have grown into the creative professional I am following my full time position at Parlophone Records. Before this time, I had spent 8 years since the age of 16 gaining as much experience and knowledge of the creative sector, particularly that of the music scene.
I pride myself on being a reliable, hardworking and creative individual who thinks in an innovative way, being a team player that is firmly organised and self-motivated.
My skills lend themselves to ideation, production, and communication. I have a fascination with popular culture, the takeover of my favourite genre globally (Rap/HipHop) and love nothing more than meeting new people and creating connections. There’s not a challenge nor opportunity I shy away from.
In my spare time I also host a podcast across Spotify and Apple Music called It's Not That Deep. An honest, educated, and playful podcast discussing a range of topics, experiences and situations we find ourselves in with a big spoonful of sarcasm incl. guests such as Lauren Mohen, Sarah Akwisombe, and Nia The Light. I also present and produce a show on Subtle Radio called The Butterfly Effect. All in the name, a show that dedicates itself to the power and influence of music from across the pond to our own evolving Rap scene in the UK. Focusing on Hip Hop, Rap, Drill and Grime, I wanted a show that left listeners wanting more, showing how each movement and moment in music matters just like a butterflies flutter can cause a hurricane, the power of music can cause a tidal wave of emotions, interest, and inspiration. Interviews have included Yaw Tog, Jords, Rasharn Powell, and Grime legend Frisco.
