About me
I’m a staff writer at Louder, home of Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Prog Magazine, where I write daily news stories and features, and conduct interviews. During my time with Future Publishing, I trained with the National Council for the Training of Journalists and was awarded a Gold Standard diploma following exams in SEO, news writing, media law and video editing.
I’m also a self-taught graphic designer and photographer, who specialises in ethereal branding design and layouts, both music related and non.
My previous employment includes working as a marketing assistant and creative coordinator for The Academy Of Contemporary Music, where I launched and designed my own campaigns, helped in the development of ideas, carried out copywriting and design tasks, assisted with administrative duties, managed the production of print materials, implemented email marketing, and carried out interviews. I also co-founded Lead Magazine in celebration of the college’s talented pool of alumni, which was launched at Metropolis Studios.
I’ve also worked at multiple music venues, working behind the desk on ticketing duties as well as in front-of-house roles.
In my free time, I’m a bass player and backing vocalist, avid book reader/collector and fashion enthusiast.
