• Working in an extremely fast paced retailer, designing into trends and catwalks to create the most up to date product. This requires extreme organization, working under initiative and strong decision making.
• Constantly designing for the newest product which is commercial. Keeping in mind our customer profile and designing for the different Topman guy
• Reacting to trade reactions as quickly as possible to affect current stock as well as future product
• Responsible for designing for casual trousers, shorts and swimwear across the UK and globally which requires designing different product for different climates
• Working closely with the sourcing team for new fabrics, strong trend anaylsis and constantly looking at inspriational brands to make sure we are the first to market
• Other roles have included overseeing the press collections and ensuring all teams have their product designed and back in time for the press show and pulling this together for the head of design and creative director
• Managing assistants to help me on the department and trained up on management courses internally
• Working very closely with buying and merchandising to ensure we create the best product for different store tiering. Included in all lineprint reviews, mega updates and deep dive trade meetings. Continiously meeting with the buying team for range building and developing the product as a team.
• Collaboratively running sign off meetings and product reviews with the buyer • Travel includes Far East, China and Turkey for production trips
• Shopping trips includes Seoul South Korea, Tokyo, New York, LA, Portland, Seattle and Florence for shopping as well as trade shows.
• Working with visual merchandizers to pull trends together for window and instore displays • Working closely with the graphics team and briefing graphics out to them on a daily basis

• Working on all young fashion brands; St George by Duffer, Red Herring and F.F.P for SS14, AW14, SS15, AW15 and SS16
• Designing multiproduct with particular ownership on jersey and knitwear across the three brands.
• Responsible for helping to put seasonal trends together and presenting them back to the menswear team including buying and merchandising
• Development from trends to colour palettes through to designing product, going on development trips and range building through to fit sessions as well as presenting in sign offs and divisional reviews
• Responsible for designing all packs that I then send directly to suppliers and working with them throughout the development to final sample, including fabric sourcing
• Previously worked on multi product across Mantaray and RJR.John Rocha ranges for AW13, SS14 & AW14 • Including outerwear, trousers, shorts and swimwear
• Shopping trips including trips to Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Ibiza
• Factory trips to Turkey with the buyer as well as the far east including Hong Kong and Shaghai
