Using SEO expertise and software to update, repurpose, and optimise copy, which led to a 93% increase in page views to Discover between 2017 and 2018. Plus, responding to consumer trends and raising the profile of TUI’s inspirational content organically, with the aim of cementing the brand as an authority on travel. Writing copy for weekly emails, radio scripts, web banners, and retail posters, for both in-house and external stakeholders. Plus, uploading copy to the preferred CMS with meta data, imagery, and tagging. Writing captions, video descriptions, and tags for YouTube videos, plus video shared on social channels. Gathering and presenting analytic data at results meetings each week, and tracking platform performance monthly to achieve editorial objectives. Circulating data to business stakeholders, and using results to inform strategy on future publications including print, digital magazines, optimisation testing, and channel sharing. Managing and building stakeholder relationships across multiple teams, reacting to business priorities, and working to tight deadlines while still delivering BAU activity. Adapting writing style for multiple channels, and working closely with channel owners to optimise content for their audience, including social, email, and TUI App users.
