I’m the Head of Events and Training at the UK trade body; the Internet Advertising Bureau where I focus on developing the best in class events for the Digital Marketing and Advertising industry.
In this role I lead the company’s events and training team, overseeing a team of three additional events and training managers as well as planning and executing all events and training as well as looking after all the teams finance.
Some of our events include IAB Engage; the largest and most successful one day digital marketing conference in the UK, annually attracting more than 1000 industry professionals from top brands, agencies and digital marketing companies.
Before joining the IAB i worked in the Trade Marketing team at both Yahoo and AOL where i worked on developing in-house and client events, such as curating trip for eight different countries to visit South Africa for the World Cup. Within these roles I was also responsible for B2B marketing, working closely with the sales and operational teams.
