About me
I'm a biologist with a passion for the creative arts: filmmaking, photography, illustrating & drawing. After graduating from Imperial College with a high 2:1, I stayed on for a year to do the Masters in Science Media Production. Throughout the year, I've learned an abundance of skills relevant to the media profession, which culminated in making a 22-minute documentary on freediving (see link). This has given me the confidence, skills, and connections with the industry to allow me to pursue a career in media. I've done work experience in research and development at Caravan Media, as well as being a part-time assistant in Orinoco Communications. On the side, I enjoy working with conservation & research charity Operation Wallacea as a divemaster & marine scientist. I'm now actively seeking work in television/film production companies situated in London.
Projects
  • Breathe - A Documentary on Freediving
Breathe - A Documentary on FreedivingThis 22-minute documentary explores the lives of 3 freedivers who love their sport. Overturning the misconceptions the media generates about the dangers, the film looks at why people enjoy diving to extreme depths, and what pushes them to explore their body's limits.
