In this role I am promoting the Saltire Scholar programme I took part in over the summer. I have attended the University of Edinburgh’s career fairs and communicated the overall mission of Entrepreneurial Scotland and sharing the benefits of applying to the programme. I have also played a role in interviewing the next cohort of students taking part in the programme next year. This has improved my ability to effectively and concisely communicate the advantages of applying for this scheme.

In this role I have been responsible for securing the social sponsor of our society. I liaised with various venues around Edinburgh negotiating the best deal. I secured a popular student establishment to sponsor our society who not only give us their venue free of charge but also give us money each term. In this role I am responsible for organising, implementing and promoting the social calendar for the society. I recently organised a charity ceilidh, which raised over £1,300 for Cardiac Risk in the Young.
