About me
Creative and diligent university graduate looking for a progressive and challenging role within a Music or Digital Media company. I am particularly interested in learning how digital and disruptive technologies affects marketing strategies and techniques used by music companies to further their artist’s careers in a rapidly changing, highly competitive and innovative market environment. In my 2nd year at university my modules consisted of Business Start-Up, Digital Entertainment Commerce, Project Management, Digital Design Project, Popular Music Culture and Music Publishing. During my third year I studied Event Management, executed a final major project, wrote a dissertation and undertook four work industry placements. I am driven by my passion as a music consumer and particularly as a fan of Heavy Metal. I have the enthusiasm towards gaining experience and learning as much as possible.

    My Duties Included: ➢ Producing and updating weekly re-order sheets to include stock re-orders, price amendments, order delivery status and product promotions. ➢ Signing off and keeping track of all web related invoices from suppliers in conjunction with the accounting department. ➢ Keeping an organised record of all purchase orders, Invoices, Stock Reports, Statements and Delivery Notes. ➢ Maintaining a working relationship between the client, client management and creative departments to oversee the approval process of any ongoing product development. ➢ Updating and keeping a record of all product development activity using a circulated product development sheet. ➢ Maintaining a good working relationship and communicating with suppliers for future projects. ➢ Maintaining a continual conversation with suppliers to ensure products are delivered with maximum effectiveness to meet required deadlines. ➢ Ensuring quality standards at met throughout the product manufacturing process. ➢ Maintaining a continuous and effective relationship with the creative department to ensure that the product development process is most effective. ➢ Ensuring to consistently track purchase order deliveries so that they can be released methodically as and when accounts department pass invoices to be checked and signed off. ➢ Working with fulfillment partners to come up with promotions, bundles and any banners placed on the web stores or for use via social channels to reflect this. ➢ Keeping and maintaining a calendar of promotional opportunities, taking into account any client specific or promotional dates throughout the year. ➢ Creating email-marketing campaigns using Mail Chimp software, using customer databases via fulfillment partners, to advertise upcoming, new or existing stock. ➢ Reviewing data to assess the effectiveness of promotional/marketing activity. ➢ Creating web, social media and email assets using Adobe Photoshop. ➢ Determine with the tour department. when is the correct time to push live on the web stores. This is usually tied in with the first date of the tour but can vary according to client specific requirements. ➢ Making sure that all sales pricing of tour ranges are matched on the web stores to avoid customer complaints. ➢ Ensuring that the accounts department receives all invoices from suppliers so that payments for stock can be processed. ➢ Producing sales invoices for customers where stock transfers or promotional jobs have been carried out. ➢ Liaising with warehouse managers to request any stock transfers, giving instructions of products to pull, delivery information and shipping deadlines. ➢ Ensuring all new and existing stock information is up to date on the web stores.
