So, who is Press Play On Tape?
I was immersed in music and image since my childhood, composing soundtracks for my Super 8 movies on a Casio VL-1.
Evolving with my machines, I first composed on two audio tracks and a noise track on MSX computers.
Then I continued with audiotrackers on an Atari ST, moving on to four generous tracks, then 8. A certain idea of infinity at the time.
Later, freshly graduated from an audiovisual school, I moved to Paris and got my first job in advertising.
Because of all the talented and interesting people I met there, I stayed 10 years in this agency. As a chief film editor first, then as a special effects artist.
But the love for the music was eventually the strongest: I became a sound artistic director for this agency, and created my first recording and post- production studio there.
In 2009 I decided to play solo and created my own company.
