Having attained a sound foundation in my first agency role, my second at Eat With Your Eyes has challenged me to develop my skill-set, most notably in terms of strategic thinking within the exciting arena of B2C design. I undertook a wide variety of briefs, from brand identity and redesign, to packaging and POS, many requiring me to acquire an understanding of brands’ strategic positioning within specific sectors such as High Street retail or premium product categories in order to create design that achieves clients’ commercial objectives. Working as part of a well-oiled team of 13, I gained many new skills and insights, from technical capabilities utilising the Adobe Creative Suites, to human skills such as dealing with clients and agency personnel. I meet demanding deadlines and maintain a well-organised work-load, and as such can be relied upon to see projects through from concept to completion.
