About me
My name is Lois and I'm a Graphic Designer from Bridgend. I have always had a love for Graphic Design and the way that it brings excitement and captivates the public. Through studying for my degree, I have had the opportunity to produce designs for a variety of projects and inspire others, whilst ensuring my work is always the best that it can be. I like to approach things from new perspectives and push the boundaries of what design can be. I enjoy generating designs around taboo topics, empowering others and encouraging social change. I am adaptable, approachable and enjoy working on a variety of different projects, giving me the opportunity to challenge myself.

  • 730 Days
730 DaysCompleted as a personal project, ‘730 Days’ is an editorial piece created with the goal of opening up the conversation surrounding the topic of grief. It is a documentation of my thoughts and feelings throughout my grieving process, and how these things changed and developed over time.
  • Packaging Re-Brand
Packaging Re-BrandAs a university given project, I decided to re-design the packaging for Tesco's own juice. I decided to give the design a more modern appearance and played on the idea of creating packaging that would appeal to people in the design industry. The final designs are simple, minimal and make bold use of colour to create something eye-catching for the shelves.
  • INCOMING Exhibition
INCOMING ExhibitionOur graduate exhibition this year was branded by myself. I generated the name, logo, animations and overall design style. Despite the physical exhibition not being able to go ahead, we still launched with an alternative online exhibition, in which I was a part of the website team. You can visit the website here : https://www.incoming.world
  • Sense : Activity Pack
Sense : Activity PackCallum's Classroom Foundation is an agency I created with the aim of improving the education system for children who face physical challenges within a classroom environment. Alongside this agency, I also created a brand called 'SENSE'. This is an educational activity pack for teachers to try an encourage empathy within the classroom.
  • Frances Tabloid
Frances TabloidI created this Tabloid to celebrate the stories told by my Grandmother, Frances. The overall design of this newspaper has a modern and minimalist appearance with a heavy focus on typography. It also makes use of a limited colour palette of black, red and beige
  • Record Sleeves
Record SleevesThis brief encouraged experimentation with typography, both digitally and by hand. I was tasked with creating 10 vinyl records sleeves using only typography found in my name and year of birth. The final outcomes show how diverse and effective typography can be when used as imagery.
