About me
I am a Director and Visual Artist based in London, with experience in content creation and marketing for arts organisations and establishments. In my filmmaking career, I am drawn to the exploration of strong feminine identities and sexuality, set against a backdrop of sensual, dream-like scenarios and narratives. My approach is experimental with the intention of creating an immersive experience for the viewer. After graduating from Chelsea College of Art in 2015 and exhibiting my film Now You See Me; I was approached to direct an LGBTQ+ feature film called Into the Mirror, musical score by Johnny Jewel (Drive, Twin Peaks: The Return). The film went on to win several awards on the festival circuit, including Best LGBT Film at NRFF London and Best Debut Feature at New Renaissance Film Festival in Amsterdam. It has had a theatrical release in the US and distributed onto Amazon Prime. As well as pursuing a career in film I have gained five years of valuable experience in Marketing and Graphic Design, including roles for Picturehouse Cinemas and most recently as a freelancer for T A P E Collective. My latest collaborative project What About Me? is a short fashion film which has been selected Aesthetica Short Film Festival, London Short Film Festival as well as more across the UK. Marked by the LA Times as ‘one to watch’, I strive to produce visually compelling work that includes video installations, short films and music videos with a focus on creative collaboration. Please reach out for collaborations and commissions, I would love to hear from like-minded creatives.
