About me
I am an experienced Editor with a demonstrated history of working in the Children's education publishing industry. I specialise in working with texts for young people and young voices, whether it's poetry or an educational text or an animation. I have worked across large digital projects and print projects which include project management of audio recordings and digital formatting. I embrace my creative side through working with authors on their books and doing some writing of my own. With a passion for music journalism, travel and book reviews I am embarking on my own blog with which I hope to showcase my blog writing skills. Having been the editor-in-chief for a music magazine, I have skills in journalism, formatting WordPress blogs and writing opinion pieces.

In this role I assisted the ELT Primary team in the development of engaging print and digital material for young learners around the world. I had editorial responsibilities in a number of key components of a range of young learner products including digital classroom presentation software. This included animations, songs, online games, audio scripts and interactive online textbooks. I also researched appropriate photos and illustrators for the products. I attended the Syndicate meeting where I experienced the board's discussion of academic journals.
