After honing my skills and identifying my key strengths over the past few years, I'm ready to learn even more and challenge myself further. Work history
Freelance Reporter
I'm the sole reporter on Saturdays at Yahoo! Celebrity UK, and am currently responsible for generating exciting, funny, shareable and SEO-friendly content, uploading it to the website and sharing it across our social platforms. These range from feature articles (including programme and series reviews during the week) to the latest news and breaking news stories, as well as live-tweeting shows such as The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent and producing picture galleries and video content.
The role allows me to not only continually hone my writing skills and tone of voice - but working from home means I have also mastered excellent time management and sub-editing skills, as well as developing a strong news sense - because I am solely responsible for the content that I post.
I'm familiar with basic HTML and CMS skills and have been SEO trained as a result of this position.
Account Manager

Working on up to 8 busy accounts at full capacity, my responsibilities are varied. Management of the respective press offices for each client is my primary concern. This entails writing creative and engaging press releases, blog posts, copywriting and advertorials and constantly liaising with members of the press - looking out for feature opportunities and promoting the interests of my clients. Creative brand development and managing events and photo shoots for clients is another important aspect of my current role, as well as producing 'look books' and press tools. Furthermore, I've played a key role in the development of PR strategy for a variety of clients, both mass-market and boutique. I've had to community manage several social media channels for clients, producing engaging online content and escalating consumer queries. After being promoted twice during my time in this role, I now manage a small team of juniors and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high-standard.
